Are you interested in becoming a member of the Wisconsin Umpires Association?  No experience is necessary to join. Our association’s primary goal is to train new umpires as well as assist in the further development of experienced umpires.

New umpire candidates must complete our Level 1 training course. This course is 11 sessions over 11 weeks. Completing this allows new umpires to become an Associate Member. Fees the Level 1 training course are $175.00. This includes the first-year membership dues and the training materials necessary to complete the course.

Through further training and game experience you can become a Full Member after your second year. A Level 2 training course is offered to experienced umpires or those that completed the Level 1 training course. This course is 6 sessions over 6 weeks. It has a focus on the 2-man umpiring system. You get more plate work and classroom time on complex rules, conflicts on the field and handling situations. The fee for this course is $95.00.
